welcome. I do use paer talismans byt not vey often. Daoist or Taoist, if I'm not mistaken.

Me too, although not all that often either. Do you prefer a particular method of constructing talismans? And yes, Daoist/Taoist are the same, just a difference in romanization. Talismanic workings are an integral part of many Daoist schools, as well as Chinese "folk magic" traditions.
