Dreams and their meanings
What is the meaning of a dream? I have watched movies with astral walkers (i think their called) (Astral Eye: Dream walkers technically but oh well) but I have never fallen upon it myself. I have heard rumours and my father has also experienced rememberances of his past life and so have I. Anyone else experienced dreams of themselves dieing? Its supposedly very common.

yes I have. Quite often it invlves falling. They are quite often past lives or your subconcious telling you it's time to change, to lose the old you.
Re: Dreams and their meanings
Dreams are such fascinating things. I have not had such a dream, although I have seen others die in my dreams.

Re: Dreams and their meanings
Dreams can be imaginative worlds that we create for ourselves but while we are in the dream you dont realise the abnormality until you have awoken. This can be a pain as sometimes people have experienced near deth dreams and when awoken can cause traumas and further mental illnesses. Quite sad reallyyy

Anyone seen the movie Inception? It has info about layers of dreams.
Anyone seen the movie Insidious? It has ghosts and astral walkers which can also link with the thought of dreams...

Very true Lollie, although if you could try to post fewer random animals, it would be most appreciated.

Re: Dreams and their meanings
I've had several dreams were i re-lived moments from some of my past lives. One of them was rather disturbing. Most of my dreams tend to deal with a lot of unpleasant topics, I hardly ever get nightmares but I tend to feel a sense of threat or urgency in most of my dreams

that is natrual, as you have had much to deal with Sinnada. It makes sense that your dreams reflect that
Re: Dreams and their meanings
Death usually symbolizes change rather than literal, physical death, although that is possible too I suppose. Regarding "dream walking", this is a core tenet of Shamanism found among different cultures throughout the world, and can be trained/practiced with a fairly high degree of success. Some sources claim that this can only be accomplished while both parties are asleep, but this isn't true: it can be done as easily in the "waking" world as in the "dream" world.

Lollie herself has some prophetic dreams, though she did not realise it for awhile. Dream travelling is exceptionally simmiliar to astral travelling.

Yes, the fundamental premise for both is the same.

Re: Dreams and their meanings
but perhaps the biggest problem most people have is the human nature to distinguish between "reality" and "dream"
Re: Dreams and their meanings
I think dreams are quite beautiful. Mine are for visions into the future and how to avoid things as well.

Only problem about visions is sometimes you die, a lot lol. When your like 8 having dreams of dying is not that fun. Not a gift as all may say but is quite handy.
Also they come on rare occasions.

Lollie, the original poster has similar problems to you, although quite often she foresees herself breaking up with a friend or partner, tries to stop it, and makes it happen.
